From January, any ICAEW members who are principals in financial services regulated firms and offer accountancy services will have to hold a practising certificate if operating in the crown dependencies or mainland UK, other  than incidentally.

The changes to the Statement on Members Engaging in Public Practice will come into effect on 1 January 2025 and for the first time make specific reference to the financial services regulators in the crown dependencies.
