Dains ramps up with £26m Barnes Roffe acquisition

Private equity backed Dains has snapped up Top 50 accountancy firm Barnes Roffe in its largest acquisition to date, pushing revenue towards £100m and targeting southeast

Barnes Roffe is a long established and profitable firm, first set up in 1899, and has over 29 partners and more than 200 employees across five offices in the London and southeast.

The management of Barnes Roffe will remain in place with responsibility of local office management sitting with the partners and local office managing partners.

Stephen Corner, senior partner at Barnes Roffe, will become regional managing partner reporting into and working closely with the Dains Group CEO, Richard McNeilly. All existing Barnes Roffe partners will be shareholders in the Dains Group.
