Duncan & Toplis acquires ALG

Private equity backed Duncan & Toplis has expanded London footprint in deal with ALG accountants

In the second acquisition in its centenary year Duncan & Toplis has acquired north London-based accountancy firm, ALG.

The deal will see ALG rebrand, with all team members including directors Mark Hilton and Panos Michaelides remaining in their roles. ALG was set up in 1993 and is run by chartered accountants Hilton and Michaelides, with two consultants Andreas Georgiou and George Michaelides.

ALG offers accountancy, audit and tax staples, as well as a range of business advisory, corporate finance and consultancy services.

The team will relocate to the firm’s Finchley office, which opened in September 2024 following the acquisition of Haines Watts North London.

The latest acquisition will allow Duncan & Toplis, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, to strengthen its standing in the capital, building out from its original Midlands stronghold.
