2020 is probably, if not definitely, the most chaotic financial and commercial year on record, resulting in a stretch on accountants’ time and resources as clients seek advice to keep up. Despite expert and readily available online courses and training to help accountants keep on top of the changes, CPD for some is not considered a priority and it’s easy to see why.

Time is precious, deadlines are urgent, demand for advice is higher than ever, and everything is new; but what these arguments miss are the potential quality and efficiency gains to be made through online learning rather than individual research.
