James Gilbey named as Forvis Mazars UK CEO

Forvis Mazars has elected James Gilbey as its next UK CEO, replacing long serving head Phil Verity after partnership vote

Gilbey will take up the role in February 2025 for a four-year term, and will be responsible for leading a team of over 170 partners and 3,300 people across 14 offices. A new UK executive board will be announced in 2025.

He will take over from Verity, who has been head of the UK firm for three terms since 2012 and will be step down from the UK executive in February and will remain a partner at the firm, as well as sitting on the Forvis Mazars global network board, a position he was appointed to in June.
