Departure from the EU is imminent, for which the basis is still unclear, with this in mind the UK government has published guidance on how to prepare for Brexit if there is no deal situation. However, there are compelling economic interests in the UK and the EU reaching a deal.

Currently, the UK is poised to leave the customs union at the end of 2020, what will follow remains contentious and it is this ‘unknown’ that keeps UK business owners up at night. We simply do not know how Brexit will impact taxes on trade, although we can explore the likely outcomes.
