Menzies signs deal with Haines Watts Wales

Independently owned Menzies LLP has merged with Haines Watts Wales (HWW) to create a single firm with combined fee income of £4m based in Cardiff

The merger will see the number of staff double to 40 at the Cardiff office, with Clive Edwards, currently managing partner at HWW, and Vicky Carter, also a partner, joining the Menzies partnership team together with 20 staff. The HWW team will relocate to the Menzies office in central Cardiff near the Principality Stadium.

The merger with HWW will strengthen the range of services on offer, with Menzies’ existing focus on business recovery, forensic accounting and advisory services enhanced with the addition of audit, accounts and tax services.

This merger marks a major milestone for Menzies as it continues on its growth trajectory to reach £85m in revenue this financial year, up from £71m for FY24 – a figure double that achieved just five years ago, putting the firm into 26th position on the Top 75 Firms annual league table.
