MHA plans AIM float in £125m capital raise

Accounting and audit firm MHA is planning to list on AIM as part of ambitious expansion plans and to allow exits for some retiree partners

The group, part of Baker Tilly International, is looking to raise up to £125m through a placing of ordinary shares and a retail offer to provide growth capital for the firm as well as enabling a sell down by a number of retiree capital partners.

The directors said that AIM admission would provide a strong platform for the group to strengthen its market position as a fast-growing accountancy firm, enhance its profile with existing clients, expand client base, and attract, incentivise, develop and retain staff.
