Housing consultancy Campbell Tickell has announced a link-up with chartered accountants and internal auditors Lustig & Co. As of 1 March 2009 the firm will become Campbell Tickell Assurance, with Greg Campbell, James Tickell and Roger Lustig becoming directors. ING has nominated Patrick Flynn as its chief financial officer for appointment to the board at its next AGM on 27 April. Flynn will make the move from HSBC's global insurance business where he is currently chief financial officer. Maurice Moses has been made partner in Ernst & Young's restructuring practice in the UK. Having led the Levy Gee/Numerica practice, and most recently having worked across Europe with Alvarex & Marsal and Alix Partner, Moses has years of restructuring experience. BDO Stoy Hayward has announced Jo Wright as business restructuring partner within its business restructuring team in Birmingham. A licensed insolvency practitioner, Wright brings over 20 years' experience to the role. She makes the move from risk consultancy company Kroll. Jerry Gattegno has moved from across the pond from the USA to join Deloitte as group leader of its multi-state tax services in its US corporate taxes group in London. Kroll has appointed Tim Whipple as president of its consulting services group. Previously head of strategy for the group, he has been with the firm since 2003. Whipple was previously senior partner of Andersen's Prague practice and head of the firm's Central European corporate finance team. The Board of the International Federation of Accountants has extended Ian Ball's term as chief executive officer until February 2013. He joined IFAC as chief executive in March 2002, having previously served IFAC as chair of its Public Sector Committee and a member of its Nominating Committee. Nina Amin, a tax partner at KPMG, has won the Professional of the Year award in the Asian Voice Political and Public Life awards. The awards now in their sixth year and sponsored by Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, recognise people ranging from international politicians to individuals who have made a big difference in their local communities. Ernst & Young has appointed three new partners to its audit and assurance practice in Manchester. Gary Harding and Alastair Nuttall both make the move from Grant Thornton's audit practice in Manchester, while Stephen Church joins from Deloitte.
