Xeinadin acquires AGS Dudley firm

Private equity backed Xeinadin continues the acquisition trail in a deal with AGS Accountants & Business Advisors, based in Dudley

This marks the latest step in Xeinadin’s buy and build M&A strategy, further expanding its footprint in the West Midlands.

Established in 1989, AGS is a full-service accountancy firm owned by Peter Squire and Steve Ashton, who will remain with the business, as will directors Kevin Corey and Tom Plimmer, post deal. Susan Aston and Karen Squire stepped down as directors of the firm in April and retired after the Xeinadin sale was finalised. The team of 44 will also stay based out of the firm’s Dudley office. Xeinadin pursues a partner led focus, meaning acquisition targets continue to run their business using a partnership style model.

AGS specialises in SME, owner managed businesses and individual clients, offering a range of professional services, spanning accounting, audit, payroll, tax advice and business planning, and has a strong healthcare focus.
