Accountancy data breaches: prevention and protection

Emails are an essential part of any business communication. The pandemic has accelerated this reliance on emails with the increase of remote working, which has now become a major part of all businesses. In 2017, the number of emails sent and received each day was 269 billion, which rapidly increased to 306.4bn in 2020.

These numbers are only expected to rise, but with the increase in emails being sent, in turn, the rate of mistakes will only grow. These errors could lead to adverse consequences should they end up in the wrong hands.
