Accountex London launches FD Show to run alongside popular May exhibition for accountants

Show organisers Diversified Communications have announced the first FD Show, a new trade exhibition dedicated to accountants in industry.

This new area, co-hosted during Accountex London next year from 13-14 May 2026, is targeted at finance leaders, including finance directors, CFOs and other senior finance leaders, featuring dedicated exhibition stands for enterprise software and services, targeted seminars and networking opportunities.

The event will be held alongside Accountex, the world’s largest accounting and finance expo held earlier this month, which reported a record attendance with over 16,000 visitors over the two-day event, up 10% on last year’s show.

‘We’re incredibly excited to launch the FD Show, a new event designed specifically for finance leaders. This new platform will offer CFOs and FDs unparalleled insights, strategic connections, and the tools they need to lead in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

‘We have a huge amount of support and interest already and are very much looking forward to delivering this next year,’ said Caroline Hobden, Accountex portfolio director.

The exhibition will feature 40+ key suppliers offering enterprise solutions, alongside a range software and services catered to finance professionals.

‘The FD Show is a fantastic addition to the Accountex brand. With all our sales channels now being catered for at one show Allica Bank is very excited to see how this new show progresses,’ said Karina Erton, partnerships marketing manager at Allica Bank.

The free seminar programme will be held across several theatres, and offer invaluable training opportunities, inspiration and insight into industry developments. It will feature case studies from big brands and provide practical solutions to the challenges that c-suite finance professionals face on a daily basis.

Long time supporters of Accountex London, the ACCA said, “We’re thrilled that Accountex is creating a dedicated space for industry professionals and finance directors – it's an exciting opportunity to connect with and support accountants driving strategy and performance in business today,’ added Chelsea Shelley, head of member engagement at ACCA.

The FD Show will be held at Excel London on 13-14 May 2026.
