CC survey confirms Big Four domination

Big Four firms continue to dominate the audit market in the UK with only a handful of FTSE 250 companies using a non Big Four auditor, and there are few signs that audit business is going out to tender on a regular basis. As part of its investigation into the UK audit market, the Competition Commission has published the findings of an in-depth survey of over 600 CFOs, FDs and chairs of audit committees (AAC), focusing on the statutory audit of FTSE 350 companies.
