Beavis Morgan accountants join £60m Kinbrook Group

Private equity firm Blixt has put investment into the accountancy sector through Kinbrook Group headed up by Nilesh Shah in a deal with Beavis Morgan

Accountancy firm Beavis Morgan, and its business restructuring specialist, Moorfields Advisory, have been bought up by the Kinbrook Group, an accounting and wealth management group headed up by Nilesh Shah. The deal is funded by investment from private equity firm Blixt, marking a ‘significant opportunity for growth, collaboration, and innovation’.

Currently Kinbrook has one significant mid-tier accountancy member firm, Duncan & Toplis with fee income of £35.1m for year end 31 March 2024. The deal with Beavis Morgan will see the group potentially enter the crowded top 30 accounting firms in the UK. Blixt first entered the sector in September 2023 with the Duncan & Toplis deal.

The addition of the two firms brings combined revenues to £60m, with £20.9m for Beavis Morgan and 100 staff, and an estimated £4m at Moorfields Advisory with a team of 39 staff.
