CML, an AIM listed semiconductor developer for the communications sector, confirmed the appointment following a formal tender process for the role of external auditor. The AIM listed company has a global operation with offices and design facilities in the UK, US, China and Singapore.

Cooper Parry will conduct the audit of CML’s financial statements for the financial year to 31 March 2025. This will include audits of various subsidiaries and legal entities controlled by the group, including CML Microsystems plc, CML Microcircuits UK Limited, Wuxi Sicomm Technologies Inc, China, and Microwave Technology Inc, which are significant components and are subject to full scope audits.

All audits and desktop review procedures for the FY24 audit were completed by BDO LLP except for the audit of the sub-group headed by Wuxi Sicomm Technologies, which was completed by non-BDO local component auditors. This approach will continue under the new audit firm Cooper Parry.
