Deloitte has announced aggregate member firm revenues of $31.3bn (£19.3bn) - the network's highest revenue ever.
The Big Four firm said its aggregate revenues grew 8.6% - its strongest revenue increase since 2008 - while all industries, business lines, and regions, witnessed an upswing in fortunes despite the backdrop of a volatile economic environment.
Its global network hired 51,000 professionals taking its worldwide workforce numbers to over the 193,000. It expects this figure to swell to 250,000 by 2015. It also made 30 strategic acquisitions over the year.
Global CEO Barry Salzberg said: 'Complexity, disruption, and speed of change are the new reality for our member firm clients, and for Deloitte's own business. Deloitte's success this past year is the result of adapting business strategies to anticipate client needs and address the changing requirements of a dynamic market.'
Asia Pacific revenues were up 16.3%, while Deloitte India rocketed by 19% in local currency. In the Americas revenues were somewhat more subdued, but still up 7.9%, while Deloitte United States grew by 9.1%. It's Latco firm (comprising Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua) saw 16.3% growth.
EMEA revenues increased by 6.4%, while member firms in Africa, Norway, Greece, and Luxembourg all experienced double-digit growth in local currency.
Just last month, Deloitte announced an 11% jump in UK revenue to £2.3bn for year ended 31 May 2012. Audit grew 13% to £663m (£586m in 2011), while consulting revenue was up by 14% to £524m. Tax increased by 7% to £529m and corporate finance by 6% to £402m (£381m in 2011). The firm's Swiss practice, which it took over in 2010, grew by 21% to £211m (£175m in 2011).

The firm has also invested heavily in leadership development with the opening of its £185m Deloitte University, near Dallas, Texas. More than 40,000 professionals from 70 countries attended over the last year.
In FY2012, Deloitte extended its commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic movements by providing strategic insight and professional services to national Games committees. Deloitte professionals delivered services across the network's full competency suite, in areas including organisational design, risk assessment, and sustainability.
Deloitte said its UK staff contributed 750,000 hours of expertise to help stage the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games - the world's largest-ever peacetime event.
