Automation provides massive prospects for cost savings, especially as tools become easier to implement and more accurate in their results, but this does not mean that ethics issues can be ignored. This is even more important as the uptake of automation has been further fuelled by the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to maintain operations, cut costs and find new ways of getting things done.
