Ernst & Young has strengthened its UK tax team with the appointment of 22 new tax partners over the last 12 months. The news comes at the same time that it was revealed last week that 120 jobs were at risk across the UK and Ireland at the Big Four firm. Stephen Hoyle and Andrew Martel are the latest two partners to be recruited to the UK tax practice. Hoyle makes the move from Deutsche Bank AG and Martel from alternative asset management group CQS.
