Following the sale of some Midlands office of Haines Watts to a private equity backed group, the Leicester HW office has stressed that it is still part of the group and was not affected by recent regional divestments
Haines Watts Leicester has issued a statement reaffirming its independence and commitment to the Haines Watts brand after the sale of the HW audit business in Leicester to TC Group as part of a private equity backed deal.
The Leicester firm confirmed its continued commitment to the Haines Watts brand and its decision to remain independent, following recent changes elsewhere in the East Midlands network.
While former entities have been acquired by private equity-backed businesses, Haines Watts Leicester has made a clear and conscious decision not to be part of that transaction, the firm said.
‘We believe that staying independent and true to the Haines Watts ethos is the right decision for our clients, our people, and our future,’ said Shazin Tayub, director at Haines Watts Leicester.
Haines Watts Leicester continues to be an ‘active and thriving part of the Haines Watts network’, Tayub added, working collaboratively with offices across the UK while maintaining a strong local presence and leadership.
‘Our clients value the strong relationships we build with them, and the continuity of service we provide is invaluable in supporting their needs” added Tayub.
Haines Watts Leicester Ltd remains focused on providing tailored accountancy, tax, R&D, and business advisory services, designed around the individual needs of its clients.
