Adrian Jones ACA, from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, has been excluded from ICAEW membership for dishonesty and fined £7,000, plus £9,000 in costs, after paying additional employer pension contributions into his nominated pension fund totalling £86,954.36, and not paying any employee pension contributions.

The sanctions followed an ICAEW disciplinary tribunal which found Jones to be dishonest, having broken Disciplinary Bye-law 4.1a. Jones has been a member of the ICAEW since 1999 but does not currently hold a practising certificate.
