The International Federation of Accountants has marked the launch of World Accountancy Week for the second year running, releasing its Global Leadership 2008 survey to mark the occasion. The survey sought the views of those belonging to its member bodies, along with regional accountancy organisations, on trends in the profession, in particular the supply and demand for professional accountants, attractiveness of the accountancy profession, and how the sector is and should be addressing the credit crisis.
