Kreston Reeves has signalled its intention to grow its corporate finance practice with the announcement of a merger with Surrey-based boutique specialist SamCorp and the appointment of Jack Clipsham as corporate finance partner
Established in 1998 as Samuels Corporate, SamCorp is a specialist corporate finance and strategic consultancy offering tailored advice to shareholders, directors and managers across a broad range of sectors, and has been behind some of the highest profile company sales and acquisitions in the South East over the past two decades.
SamCorp directors Peter Samuels and Darren Hurdle will move into the Gatwick office of Kreston Reeves and trade as Kreston Reeves, with Jack Clipsham taking up the role of corporate finance partner. Over his career Clipsham has concentrated on SME and mid-market clients and has developed business in both the south east of England and internationally in east and south east Asia.

Kreston Reeves, which has offices in London, Kent and Sussex, is ranked at number 24 in the Accountancy league table. The firm employs over 550 people including more than 50 partners and has a reported fee income of £33.1m.
