Reforms to limited partnership law: what to expect

Proposed changes to limited partnership law have been put forward by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The proposals, which will require legislative change, will affect all UK limited partnerships. Scottish limited partnerships, which, unlike their English counterparts, have separate legal personality, have already been subject to recent scrutiny due to concerns about them being misused to facilitate criminal activity.
