Kay Review identifies short-termism issue

The Kay Review has been published after a year of investigations. Back in June 2011 the government asked professor John Kay (right) to undertake a review of activity in UK equity markets and its impact on the long-term performance and governance of UK quoted companies.

The review sought to establish whether markets were achieving their core purposes of enhancing the performance of UK companies and enabling savers to benefit from those businesses.
