Being their own boss and quitting to start a business are top of the agenda for Gen Z, with 20% stating that they want to start their own business so they have something of their own. In addition, 16% want to be their own boss while 10% felt trapped in their job, according to the research from AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians).

The research has been published to help promote Small Business Saturday on 3 December.
