More powers to strike off companies from register

Companies House has been given stronger powers to strike companies off the company register, so keeping in line with the latest rules is essential, as ECCTA framework kicks in

Companies House has published updated guidance on the circumstances in which a company can be struck off the register and dissolved, reflecting a number of recent reforms made by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA)

There are now three circumstances in which the registrar may initiate action to strike off a company:
