Pension bosses banned over £44m fraud

Three directors have been banned from acting as directors after pension mis-selling which resulted in £44m in investor losses

Aiden Henderson, Andrew Page, and Thomas Ward have all been disqualified as working as directors for any company in any sector by the Insolvency Service following their roles in a pension mis-selling scheme which stole over £44m from would-be investors.

The mis-selling took place between January 2014 and July 2015 and saw significant losses to over 2,000 pension customers which were misled into placing their pensions in high-risk financial products.

All three were directors at financial advisers Financial Page and Henderson Carter Associates.
