Tax vacancies see steady growth

The demand for tax professionals within and outside the UK's accounting sector has seen consistent growth in 2022, with vacancies up on 2021 levels, according to Morgan McKinley 

 

The report by Morgan McKinley and labour market analysts Vacancysoft found that the recruietment of tax professionals within and outside the UK’s accounting sector continues to see consistent growth year-on-year. 

Between January to October 2022, there have been 3,030 new jobs, not far off the 2021 total of 3,318. 

When analysing the annual performance of tax vacancies, the report observed a sustained volume of vacancies within the tax sector, with the majority of tax professionals having received multiple offers, given the high demand for talent.
