Kilinc, 21, from Hackney joined Redington after a leadership through sports and business (LTSB) apprenticeship which combines sports and accountancy at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL).

Apprenticeship pathway

‘I tried for accountancy at university but I did not get into the university I wanted to. So I looked at alternative routes and I found the apprenticeship pathway to be much better.

‘I was invited for an initial interview at CONEL, followed by a group interview with the teachers of the apprenticeship programme and was accepted.’
