Xeinadin acquires duo of northern firms

Private equity backed Xeinadin has expanded in the north of England snapping up Gibson Booth and King Hope accountancy firms

The deals are part of Xeinadin’s targeted buy and build growth plans and the fifth transaction so far this year, strengthening the group’s presence in the north of England bringing the total number of offices in the region to 16.

Gibson Booth is based in Barnsley and Huddersfield, while King Hope has three offices in Darlington, Northallerton and Hartlepool.

As part of the deal terms, Gibson Booth, which was set up in 2014, will now be known as the Xeinadin Barnsley office, while its operations in Huddersfield, and Gibson Booth Business Solutions and Insolvency Ltd, in Barnsley will continue to practice as independent entities.
