'At a time when businesses should be focused on protecting their businesses, growing them, and keeping a stable workforce, they are actually distracted by noises around tax changes.

The Budget is now set for 3 March, that’s quite early. I’m seeing on social media that this is because there is going to be a capital gains tax (CGT) increase from 6 April, so people have a month to prepare.

This may just be a convenient date, but this noise is definitely distracting business owners from running their businesses.
