AAB snaps up Rora from ex-PwC accountants

Private equity backed AAB Group acquires virtual finance specialist firm Rora, set up by former Big Four staffers to expand outsourced support for finance teams

London-based Rora was set up by two former PwC accountants Dan Hully and Sam Wilkinson in 2017. Hully has decided to leave the business following the AAB deal.

Rora is a fractional finance specialist, focusing on early-stage and high growth businesses, and acts as ‘a finance team or as specialist support to existing in-house finance functions’. Rora is the trading name of Quantico Analytics Limited.

Co-founder Wilkinson will become a partner at AAB and will head up a team of 10 staff moving across as part of the deal. He started his career at PwC in 2012, before leaving six years later to pursue a career in accounting start-ups.
