Audit Commission retenders £25m of contracts

The Audit Commission is to retender £25m of local audit contracts to secure further savings. The contracts amount to 30% of the audit work carried out in England and are currently held by Deloitte, Grant Thornton, KPMG, PwC and PKF, now BDO.
