Sarah Forey of 3 Bolt Court Chambers received fiercely critical remarks from High Court Judge Justice Ritchie after she was found to be using completely fictional cases to defend a case for a homeless man.

Forey was only called to the bar in 2021 and is still considered a junior barrister, but with the extensive levels of education needed to practise as a barrister she should have been aware misleading the court in such a way would become a serious issue as her core duty is primarily to the court.

For now, Forey is still registered with the Bar Standards Board but inside sources have stated she will likely be disbarred.
