Private equity backed Bishop Fleming has moved to a brand new office in Exeter to drive expansion and accommodate more staff
The Exeter hub is based at Winslade Park, a multipurpose, flexible office and residential development, just five miles from the city centre, set in acres of parkland. It has capacity for over 100 staff and is the group’s second largest office, reinforcing Bishop Fleming’s long-term commitment to the south west economy.
The offical opening event marked three successful months since relocating from Stratus House and represents a major milestone in the Top 40 firm’s regional and national strategy following a recent private equity deal with Synova.
Bishop Fleming said the Winslade move ‘will play a critical role in delivering expanded services and developing talent, while supporting the firm’s broader national scale-up strategy’.
Fleur Lewis, partner and Exeter office lead, said: ‘We’re building something exceptional in Exeter – a dynamic workspace that promotes collaboration, reinforces our values-driven culture and where our teams are proud and excited to work together.
‘Winslade Park provides the environment and setting for us to continue to attract the best talent, support our clients and local communities and continue to be a leading accountancy firm in the mid-market.’

The firm continues to experience rapid growth across its service lines. Audit alone grew 20% year-on-year and FY24 revenue was £45.8m, putting the firm at 36th in the Top 75 Firms survey.
The move is a key part of Bishop Fleming’s Better Growth vision, which has already doubled the size of the business in recent years and now targets £200m+ revenue and over 2,000 people through sustainable organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
This future expansion will be fuelled by a recent minority private equity investment from Synova. This deal saw Bishop Fleming keep a majority stake in the business with a partnership model and will accelerate the firm’s national expansion through M&A.
The Exeter office now employs over 100 people and has capacity for further expansion. In 2025, it will also be home to 12 of the firm’s 70 new apprentices through Bishop Fleming’s Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rated apprenticeship programme, one of just 18 employer providers in the UK with that status.
The Bristol move is the latest stage in an upgrade of office space, following the opening of the first Birmingham office in January and recent expansion in Bristol.
Bishop Fleming has 47 partners and over 550 staff across nine offices in the south west and Midlands. The new Exeter office is located at Brook House, Winslade Park, EX5 1GD.
