Call girl accused of retired accountant's death

A Russian call girl, who was the 'addiction' of a retired accountant, was at court this week charged with beating her former client to death.

Natalia Woolley, 38, is alleged to have punched, kicked and stamped on the 69-year-old Winston Fernandez, after he had locked her in his Surrey home and demanded she perform sex acts on him.

A regular client of the Russian blonde, Fernandez wrote in 2011 a review on the escort site which promoted Woolley's services, saying she 'never disappointed... It is a pleasure to be with you. I will spend a lifetime with you'.

Attendants of the trial at Guildford Crown Court heard that after the death of his wife in 2000, Fernandez had become a 'difficult, lonely' man, estranged from his two sons and found comfort in alcohol and call girls.

However Woolley - also known professionally as Lenka and Alice - was the last known person to see the former accountant alive, following a visit to his four-bedroom house on 16 January 2012, the night he died.According to pathologists, Fernandez, who lived alone, received injuries to his head and upper body so severe, that he broke his larynx in two places and fractured 17 ribs.

The court heard that Woolley - who was listening via a Russian interpreter - described herself on escort websites as 'alluring to all men and incredibly sexy' but was accused of going to great lengths to cover her tracks.

According to the prosecution, Woolley cut Fernandez's telephone line before fleeing the scene and stopped using her iPhone once it was confirmed by her mobile operator that it could be traced.

Woolley denies murder and the trial continues.
