Edward’s directors Chris Clayton and Samantha Day have moved across to the firm, which is ranked at number 48 in the Accountancy league table, with Clayton being admitted as a partner of CBW.

Edwards was formed in 1986 and has a customer base of 300 individuals as well as some 20 SME company schemes. Assets under management surpassed £50m, for the year ending 2015-2016.

Clayton said: ‘The team and I are incredibly excited to be joining the financial planning department at CBW.  We are totally committed to the future of the new, enlarged financial planning operation at CBW.’
