The Insolvency Service is reducing the early morning opening hours of its telephone inquiry service, saying that it receives the bulk of calls during normal office hours
From 1 September 2015, the opening hours of the Insolvency Enquiry Line will change to 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
The Insolvency Services says a review of line activity found that comparatively few calls are received between the hours of 8am and 9am, when the service is currently operating. It says the new hours will enable it to provide a better service by concentrating resources and reducing waiting time during busier peak hours.
The Insolvency Enquiry Line provides information about insolvency legislation and procedures, including details of the official receivers’ and redundancy payments offices.
The Insolvency Enquiry Line is on 0300 678 0015, or there is an online inquiry service
