For many years climate change was seen as an environmental issue. Today, it is a business issue. Increasingly, it is also an audit issue.

The effects of climate change are no longer theoretical or confined to future generations. Extreme weather events, rising temperatures, supply chain disruption, changing regulations, insurance challenges and shifting customer expectations are already affecting businesses across the UK and beyond. As a result, climate risk is becoming embedded in many of the significant judgements, estimates and disclosures that auditors assess every day.
