Deloitte offers flexible public holidays for staff

Deloitte is to give its 22,000 staff a choice of when they want to take public holiday leave

The Big Four firm’s change in policy will allow its employees to choose alternative dates to take their public holiday allowance which is usually around eight to 10 days a year depending on where they live in the UK.

This will allow Deloitte employees who celebrate other religious holidays such as Eid, Diwali, Hanukkah, or other cultural dates, to take time off then instead of the traditional UK public holidays such as Easter, Christmas, and other bank holidays.
