The move will see an overhaul of job titles across the US firm from 1 June this year.

There are no plans to do anything similar in the UK yet with a source at Deloitte UK saying the move was ‘specific’ to the US.

In a statement, a Deloitte US spokesperson said: ‘Deloitte US is modernising its talent architecture to provide a more tailored experience reflective of our professionals’ broad range of skills and the work they do serving our clients.’

The restructure will see the creation of job families, with all job titles allocated a code based on a numeric banding. For example, senior consultants will be ranked as L45, while managers will be assigned L55 grade, according to an internal presentation for Deloitte employees seen by Business Insider.
