Director used £13m fraud to buy Porsche and Dubai holiday

Jailed Nottinghamshire director wanted to ‘portray image of wealth and success’, spending investor money on £1.9m house, football hospitality, and trips abroad

Anthony Clark, 59, of Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, was jailed for four years and eight months at Nottingham Crown Court after pleading guilty to two counts of fraud by false representation, two counts of fraud by abuse of position, and two counts of making false or misleading statements in relation to the sale of the products.

Over a four-year period between 2017 and 2020, Clark was involved in ‘the sale of unregulated investments’, from his companies Thrive Transformation Limited and The Alternative Adviser LTD, the court heard.

According to Companies House, Thrive Transformation is still active, with Anthony Clark listed as an active person with significant control. Whilst Alternative Adviser was dissolved in December 2023, with Clark listed as the only director.
