Tameri Fon, 34, an accounts clerk from Stoke-on-Trent, has been jailed for two years and eight months for stealing £322,347 from DP World, the multinational port and logistics giant, when he was working at their offices in Southampton from July to November 2023.

Just 10 months before being arrested for the theft, ACCA struck off Fon from its student register in July 2024 after finding that he had dishonestly submitted falsified documents about his exam results to a previous employer and training provider in 2021.

Hampshire Police arrested Fon less than 10 months after ACCA struck him off its student register.
