After an interminably long election campaign, the first Conservative majority since the 1997 Labour landslide swept Tony Blair to power is now in government with a small 12-seat majority and prepares for its first Queen's Speech on 27 May. 

Headed by the same top team with George Osborne resuming his position as Chancellor, there is likely to be a return to a more traditional Conservative approach, with less influencing factors from the coalition partners seen over the last five years.
