New BrightHR dashboard gives an instant view of Fair Work Agency responsibilities, national minimum wage compliance requirements and employee records
The Fair Work Agency Navigator developed by BrightHR helps UK employers stay prepared for inspections by the new enforcement body.
Available in the BrightHR app, the Fair Work Agency Navigator brings key employee records, compliance information, notifications and training records together in one easy-to-use dashboard.
The launch comes as employers prepare for significant changes under the Employment Rights Act 2025 and the introduction of the Fair Work Agency (FWA) as a UK workplace enforcement body.
The Fair Work Agency is the new statutory body responsible for monitoring national minimum wage (NMW) compliance. Officers can inspect workplace records, meet with employees and carry out both scheduled and spot-check inspections. Employers will need to provide evidence covering areas such as minimum wage compliance, employee training and holiday records.
The Fair Work Agency Navigator is a new hub to help businesses prepare for Fair Work Agency inspections. Employers can:
- Track and export employee reports and records
- Evidence mandatory training records for staff and managers
- Access employment law resources and support, plus notifications for key compliance requirements
- Get an instant overview of minimum wage, annual leave and probation-related employee data
Alan Price, CEO at BrightHR says: ‘Staying on top of employment law responsibilities is becoming more challenging for small and medium-sized businesses. Most employers want to do the right thing, but finding, tracking and keeping the records needed to show compliance can take valuable time.
‘The Fair Work Agency Navigator makes preparation simpler by giving employers one clear view of the key information they need. It helps businesses spot gaps early and take action before an employee complaint or an inspection by the FWA.
‘As the employment law landscape continues to shift, we’re committed to giving employers practical, easy-to-use tools that help them stay compliant, save time and focus on running their business.’
The FWA Navigator from BrightHR will help UK employers manage their increased responsibilities under the Employment Rights Act 2025. Billed as the biggest upgrade to UK employment law in a generation, the changes are estimated to cost employers £1bn per year.
With its first conviction already under its belt, the Fair Work Agency recently issued fines totalling £7m on 658 employers for national minimum wage breaches. The hospitality and retail industries saw the most affected workers, alongside social care, childcare and leisure. In total, more than 27,000 workers were repaid over £4m, with employer details published on a ‘name and shame’ list.
The Fair Work Agency Navigator is available through BrightHR.
