Fans of long running BBC show, The Apprentice, have been eyeing up the candidates in this year’s series, casting their verdict on the performance of Priyesh Bathia, a former Big Four manager, now running his own mobile cocktail business.

Thrown into the lion’s den in the apprentice, Priyesh, now a drinks maker, has kept a low profile, staying out of Lord Sugar’s steely focus in the boardroom. In the disastrous first episode he was as catastrophic as the rest of the candidates, failing to find most of the objects in the Hong Kong.

But he came into his own last week, in episode two, when he played a leading role in the task and turned his hand to designing a children’s book.

While he was not team manager, he basically played a major role and had plenty to say. Priyesh’s team went with an unusual choice of story, involving an astronaut finding a suitably sized toilet.
