E&Y most influential among accountancy brands

Ernst & Young has been recognised as the UK's strongest accountancy and business services brand in the influential Superbrands annual league table for 2013 - knocking PwC from first to fourth position.

The annual Business Superbrands survey, independently administered by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA), compiles a list of leading business-to-business brands which his then scored by and independent expert council.

Steve Cheliotis, chief executive of TCBA said that E&Y's brand is 'powerful brand' and has been firmly in place among the UK's top 50 ever since 2006, when The Centre for Brand Analysis first began the Business Superbrands survey.

'Its focus on talent and innovative, quality services has reaffirmed its long-held position as a trusted adviser to a wide range of small, medium and large businesses. Its well regarded brand continues to remain one that business leaders and marketing experts alike recognise, respect and trust,' said Cheliotis.

Steve Varley, UK chairman and managing partner at Ernst & Young, said he was proud of the global brand.
