Film financers, prop makers and Dubai landlords owe £53.2m unpaid tax

A Soho film investor is one of this month’s top deliberate tax defaulters owing £14.1m to HMRC along with a pandemic PPE supplier, a prop maker, Dubai landlord and OnlyFans creator

A total of 137 companies across the UK were on the latest defaulters list, owing HMRC a total of £89.7m, split between £56.2m in tax, and £33.5m in penalties. Comparing to figures from September 2025, tax due is down massively from £123m, thanks to payroll firm Hive 360 falling out of the list.

Highlights from the latest list include Dubai based landlord, Uma Ali Sheikh who owes £261,252 with £137,333 owed in penalties. Sheikh is one of the only defaulters to be included with an address listed in the Dubai Marina where properties can fetch up to £2m.

Also included on the list was Nuneaton online influencer and content creator Achante Morgan Richardson, who owes £25,333 in tax and £13,300 in penalties relating to earning from an OnlyFans account.
