Revenue & Customs has announced four new non-executive appointments in the form of Colin Cobain, Philppa Hird, Phil Hodkinson and Dame Sue Street to its board. The appointments will be effective for three years, following an external recruitment process. Chair of the board and chairman of the Revenue Mike Clasper said the appointments were the next step 'in strengthening the department's governance.' The board aims to provide strategic leadership, approves business plans, monitors performance and ensures 'the highest standards of corporate governance'.
