What was your first pay cheque? It would have been about £600 back in December 1997. What did you spend it on? I had to buy a suit, shirt and tie for interviews. I still wear the tie now and again so like to think it was a good one. Dining out or entertaining at home? With the kids, life is a whole lot easier if we entertain at home and I'm told I'm not too bad a cook. Most expensive thing ever bought? My beloved Burnley football club needed to raise some money, so for a grand, I bought a personalised 'strip', of the shirt variety, in a fundraiser! Best bargain ever had?
